Should Have Paid Me More is a place to share workplace incidents that make you think “They should be paying me more to put up with this”. The originators of this site are technologists and many of the stories have a technology bent, but we are an equal-opportunity venting center – incidents unrelated to technology are not discriminated against. As a matter of fact, there’s a story category just for technology to keep it from touching the other categories and possibly giving them cooties.

While the purpose of this website is to share moments of extreme frustration and possibly mental meltdowns, whether or not related to storm trooper onslaught, slander and other such illegal damage that can be wrought through words is not acceptable. This site’s publishers reserve the right to remove, redact, or censor any content considered illegal and will work with any third parties that feel they have been wronged in this way.

All registered users can submit stories for this site after logging in. All submissions are moderated and may be edited by an administrator for quality control purposes before publication. To submit a story without registering an account, you can send it to stories@shouldhavepaidmemore.com. Any published submissions received in this manner will show the submitter’s email address.
